Prepare for a bunch of SAO pictures to head your way !
This was a costume made for Gold Coast Supanova 2013. It was a lot of fun floating around as a fairy with wings and a big sword all day >! There were heaps of other SAO cosplayers and fans around, which was great to see (such a great series c:!!). Big thanks to Antonius (Firehartz) who took some time to take some amazing shots of our costumes by the river while the sun was setting.

Costume
- Costume is primarily pleather with white bias binding
- Armour plates are craft foam, sealed in PVA glue and spray painted silver
- Shoulder guard is craft foam, covered in paper clay and selley's spakfilla, then sanded down, primed and painted

Sword
- Sword is a dowel running through a few layers of foamcore board, craft foam layered on top, the edge is sanded down
- Paperclay and Selley's spakfilla helps create the rounded edges on the sword

Wings
- The wing frame is made of metal coathangers than were straightened and shaped accordingly
- The wings are made of a thin, see-through dance material
